The race starts and finishes at Lake Townsend Regional Park. The park is located in Nobleton, FL which is just outside of Brooksville. The proper address is: Lake Townsend Regional Park 28011 Lake Lindsey Road (CR 476), Brooksville, FL 34601.

Lake Townsend has many amenities: running water, bathrooms, pavilions, a hose for rinsing off, electricity, and a lot of shaded parking. The park also has plenty to do for the entire family with basketball courts, baseball fields, volleyball, fishing pier, and playground. Lake Townsend Park has many park amenities and you will find it a great venue for a race.

The course will start and finish on part of the Withlacoochee Trail with the middle of the race taking place on single/double track trails of Withlacoochee State Forest.

The Double LP will be a double loop of the LP course so you will have an easy Bag Drop location at the start/finish area. Another drop bag can  be transported to a waterstop located halfway through the loop if you would like.

There are many affordable lodging options at the intersection of S.R. 50 and Interstate 75 (Brooksville). The host hotel is Microtel with a room rate of $59 per night - make sure you mention the Long Play to ensure you get this rate.
